My name is Qaiser Abbas, though many in the industry know me as Ken Abbas. I’m originally from Pakistan, where I completed my Master’s in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies — I’ve always been deeply interested in international relations, global finance, and how systems impact individuals at a practical level.

Since COVID, I’ve worked remotely with companies across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East. That international exposure gave me a unique perspective on financial systems — especially the U.S. credit and debt structure — and how differently they operate compared to other regions. Over time, what began as a professional opportunity evolved into a focused career in consumer debt resolution.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing snooker and cricket, and I still follow global affairs closely. Strategic thinking — whether in diplomacy, sport, or financial negotiation — has always been a constant theme in my life.

My Journey: From Industry Insider to Client Advocate

Understanding Debt from the Inside Out

My career began on the other side of the financial industry — working in collections. That early experience gave me a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how the world of debt, credit, and consumer finance truly operates. I learned not only how debts are pursued, but also how overwhelming and confusing the system can feel for the average person.

While working with Cedar Financial, one of the largest international collection agencies, I saw firsthand how consumers were often pressured without fully understanding their rights or available strategies. That experience shaped my understanding of the industry — and ultimately changed the direction of my career.

Seeing the Gaps in Traditional Debt Settlement

After collections, I transitioned into traditional debt settlement companies. There, I gained deep knowledge of negotiation processes and financial recovery strategies. However, I also saw a recurring problem: many companies charged high fees based on total balances, sometimes putting business profits ahead of the client’s long-term financial health.

Watching borrowers struggle through complicated programs made me question the traditional approach. I realized that real success in debt relief requires more than just negotiation — it requires transparency, education, and a strategy tailored to each individual’s situation.

Building a Client-First Approach

Those experiences shaped my philosophy: people don’t need complicated systems or unrealistic promises — they need honest guidance and practical solutions. My focus shifted from simply explaining options to helping individuals execute real strategies that resolve debt and rebuild financial stability.

Today, I work closely with Andrew Weber at MyCreditCounselor, supporting clients through a performance-based, results-focused settlement model. Instead of charging fees based on total balances, our approach prioritizes actual savings and measurable outcomes.

My responsibilities include managing client cases, coordinating legal filings, and maintaining direct communication throughout the entire process. I believe clients deserve to understand every step of their journey and feel supported rather than pressured.

As a Certified Credit Counselor (NACCC), I combine insider industry knowledge with practical counseling strategies that empower clients to make informed financial decisions and protect their future.

Building DebtCrusherPro: A Vision for Transparent Debt Relief

Alongside my counseling work, I am developing DebtCrusherPro — a platform designed to provide transparent, performance-based debt relief solutions. The goal is simple: help individuals settle smarter, protect their credit, and rebuild their financial lives with confidence.
